Podoro

Privacy Policy

Last updated 22 July 2026

The short version: Podoro does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. There is no account and no analytics. Everything the app stores stays on your iPhone.

What Podoro stores on your device

All of this is written to your device's local storage (including a shared app group so Podoro's Screen Time extensions can read it). None of it is uploaded anywhere. Deleting the app removes it.

Screen Time and app blocking

Podoro uses Apple's Screen Time APIs (Family Controls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity) to shield the apps you select during a focus session. Two things are worth being explicit about:

Purchases

If you subscribe to Podoro Pro, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple. Podoro receives only the transaction record needed to know whether your subscription is active. Podoro never sees or stores your name, payment details, or Apple Account credentials.

Notifications

Podoro schedules alerts locally on your device to signal the end of a focus or break period. No push server is involved and no notification content leaves your iPhone.

What Podoro does not do

Children

Podoro is a self-directed focus tool intended for general audiences. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
